Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

Support field leadership by coordinating daily project operations, maintaining safe and orderly work areas, and helping deliver work to schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work sequencing, materials, subcontractors, vendors, site logistics, and required inspections.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, quality control, and completion of project punch-list work.
• Track daily activities, logs, schedule and scope changes, documentation, and subcontractor progress.
• Coordinate with clients, inspectors, project and design teams, and field staff; mentor junior employees.
• Support hoisting and vertical transportation planning and maintain OSHA and city permitting documentation.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically four years of relevant construction field or office experience as a Specialist or Project Engineer.
• OSHA 30 certification, or a Board of Certified Safety Professionals credential such as STSC or CHST.
• CPR and First Aid/CPR/AED training; training may be provided if needed.
• Knowledge of construction materials, drawings, specifications, work sequencing, short-interval scheduling, and daily reporting.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn tools such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Smartsheet, and Procore.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay ranges from $132,350 to $145,600, based on skills and experience.
