Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

Support field leadership by coordinating daily site operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and helping deliver assigned construction work on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Promote jobsite safety and cleanliness while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, materials, and work sequencing.
• Support staff development, communicate with project teams and stakeholders, and distribute coordinated work plans.
• Track daily logs, schedule and scope changes, subcontractor documentation, inspections, and permitting records.
• Coordinate site logistics, hoisting and vertical transportation needs, and quality-control and punch-list work.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically four years of relevant construction field or office experience as a Specialist or Project Engineer.
• OSHA 30 certification, or a Board of Certified Safety Professionals certification such as STSC or CHST.
• CPR and First Aid/CPR/AED training; training may be provided if needed.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, sequencing, short-interval scheduling, daily reporting, and construction management software. Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Smartsheet, and Procore are examples.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range is $132,000-$146,000, with actual pay based on skills and experience.
