Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrician Foreman to supervise electrical craft work, coordinate crew activities, and deliver installation and repair work safely and efficiently on a construction project in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Direct electrical installation, testing, maintenance, and repair activities in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Lead crew scheduling, material and tool coordination, productivity tracking, and weekly work planning.
• Conduct pre-job planning, toolbox meetings, safety training, and hazard mitigation while reporting incidents and near misses.
• Coordinate with other trades, inspect completed work, correct deficiencies, and maintain quality requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training, review timecards, complete performance assessments, and ensure crew members are qualified for assigned work.
• Verify equipment inspections, support lockout/tagout procedures, and communicate project progress to supervision.

Required Experience

• At least five years of electrician or comparable craft experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Highly qualified journeyman electrician with strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable jurisdictional licensing requirements.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• One or more listed electrical or supervision certifications is preferred, including a state electrical license or applicable NCCER credential.
• Ability to provide required tools, work safely in construction-site conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and work shifts of up to 12 hours.
