Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a General Foreman to lead electrical crews and oversee safe, productive installation, testing, maintenance, and repair work on construction projects in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Direct foremen and craft workers while coordinating electrical work with other trades.
• Lead pre-task safety planning, hazard correction, incident response, and safety training.
• Develop four-week schedules, monitor short-interval plans, productivity, labor hours, materials, and job costs.
• Review timecards, daily reports, quality documentation, equipment inspections, and subordinate performance assessments.
• Interpret plans, specifications, codes, and schedules; inspect work and correct deficiencies.
• Confirm tools, materials, equipment, training, and qualified personnel are available for assigned work.

Required Experience

• At least six years of electrician experience or higher, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and the National Electrical Code.
• Applicable jurisdictional electrical licenses are required.
• Preferred credentials include a State Electrical License, NCCER Electrical, NCCER Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Pipeline Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, or NCCER Project Supervision certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and scaffolds, work in confined areas, and perform physically demanding outdoor work for shifts of up to 12 hours.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time, non-union position may include health and welfare benefits, paid time off, financial programs, and eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Relocation is not available.
