Electrical Superintendent - Solar

Job Summary

Overland Contracting, a Black & Veatch company, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee field execution and craft supervision on a solar construction project in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Project Details

The role supports solar construction, with responsibility for coordinating electrical craft work and keeping assigned activities aligned with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Track construction progress, productivity, costs, installed quantities, and schedule performance.
• Lead foreman planning meetings and maintain a rolling three-week look-ahead schedule.
• Coordinate craft work plans, labor, materials, and equipment with other site leaders.
• Review field records, timesheets, payment requests, and punch-list completion.
• Address field issues involving drawings, quality, safety, and schedule; develop corrective actions as needed.
• Support work packages, hazard analyses, change requests, and contractor information requests.
• Supervise and support general foremen, foremen, and minor subcontractor supervision.

Required Experience

• At least one year of construction field leadership experience on equivalent projects.
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• A construction management or engineering degree and training in safety, cost, quality, schedule, or contract administration are preferred.
