Project Manager- Substation and Transmission

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead small and medium engineering, procurement, construction, and services projects, coordinating teams and delivery from planning through execution.

Project Details

The role focuses on substation and transmission work and sits within a group serving technology, commercial, and industrial clients. Projects may involve multidisciplinary teams and third-party contributors.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, safety, contractual requirements, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities, including work performed by external companies.
• Lead project teams, manage multiple clients or projects, and support contract negotiations and repeat business.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically seven years of experience is preferred.
