Field Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

The Beck Group is hiring a Field Assistant Superintendent in Atlanta to support project teams with field coordination and safe, efficient construction execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work sequences with subcontractors and vendors, and help supervise laborers or assigned craft scopes.
• Read construction documents and support workforce coordination, quality control, safety enforcement, and schedule adherence.
• Assist with field layout, engineering, daily reports, and project documentation, including RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.
• Use Bluebeam and contribute to Lean Construction practices and process improvement.

Required Experience

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience and a relevant college degree, or applicable field foreman or field engineer experience with safety awareness, supervisory experience, and daily reporting skills.
• Basic understanding of project documents and strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Commercial construction internship experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technology is a plus.
