Field Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Field Assistant Superintendent to support safe, coordinated project delivery and develop field leadership skills alongside experienced project and supervision teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work sequencing with subcontractors and vendors, and help supervise field crews or assigned project scopes.
• Read construction documents and support RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and record drawings in coordination with Project Engineers.
• Help maintain quality, safety, schedule, layout, and daily reporting.
• Apply Lean Construction practices, collaborate with project partners, and use Bluebeam for basic field needs.

Required Experience

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience and a relevant college degree, or qualifying field foreman or field engineer experience.
• Understanding of construction documents; basic safety awareness, supervisory experience, and daily reporting ability are considered for experienced field candidates.
• Commercial construction internship experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable tools is a plus.
