Field Engineer - HART Project

Job Summary

Tutor Perini is hiring a Field Engineer to support construction delivery on the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation project, reporting to the Superintendent.

Project Details

The HART City Center Guideway and Stations project involves six rail stations and about three miles of elevated rail guideway in downtown Honolulu. The approximately $1.66 billion contract is expected to reach substantial completion in 2030.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production resources, review schedules, and track project progress, quantities, and costs.
• Review drawings and specifications, support quality documentation, and coordinate permits and field layout.
• Conduct job hazard analyses, take part in safety meetings, and coordinate subcontractor work.
• Review crew timecards, support estimating and design teams, and help complete project closeout.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least three years of civil construction field experience.
• Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience.
