Project Engineer

Job Summary

Perini Management Services, a Tutor Perini company, is hiring a Project Engineer for work in Death Valley National Park, California. The position reports to the Project Manager and supports project planning, coordination, and field delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design teams and assist with budgets, schedules, procurement, and document reviews.
• Track project progress, costs, risks, scope changes, change orders, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Support construction oversight, site safety, quality inspections, and coordination of materials and services.
• Maintain meeting records, action items, submittals, and requests for information.
• Coordinate site access and clearance requirements with the owner and security staff.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience as a construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore.
• Must be willing to travel and relocate near the project; ability to obtain an employer-sponsored U.S. Government Security Clearance is required, which requires U.S. citizenship.
