Field Superintendent - Underground Utilities

Job Summary

Sundt is hiring a field superintendent to oversee underground utilities construction, guide field crews and subcontractors, and keep work aligned with safety, schedule, quality, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and ensure project safety and quality plans are followed.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and daily field sequencing.
• Manage field schedules, production, costs, reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Review design issues and RFIs, support subcontractor meetings, and implement lean planning.
• Direct and develop craft teams on self-perform work as needed.

Required Experience

• At least two years of supervisory experience using similar construction methods, equipment, tools, and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control, with the ability to supervise employees and subcontractors.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is described as market competitive and is paid weekly.
