General Construction Manager - Building Group

Job Summary

Sundt is seeking a Construction Manager I to support project managers with planning, execution, client service, and financial results across assigned construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project staff and field teams to deliver work within schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Support contract administration, cost control, budgeting, and labor cost monitoring.
• Promote jobsite safety through training, meetings, and hazard monitoring.
• Build client relationships, address concerns, and help resolve team issues.
• Contribute to estimating and takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities; assist with form design and equipment selection as needed.
• Develop and supervise project teams to support successful project delivery.

Required Experience

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• At least six years of construction industry experience, with project site experience also specified.
• Understanding of project management plans, change management, contracts, specifications, and cost controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
