Project Engineer

Job Summary

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is hiring a Project Engineer for commercial construction work in the Las Vegas area. The role supports field execution, quality, documentation, and coordination to help keep construction aligned with project plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review site progress, coordinate deliveries and contractors, and interpret drawings for field teams.
• Resolve drawing conflicts and prepare field changes, as-built documentation, RFIs, status records, and closeout checklists.
• Verify work against codes and contract documents, and coordinate quality control with the construction schedule.
• Support coordination meetings, MEP startup and commissioning, logistics, sequencing, procurement, concrete tracking, quantity takeoffs, and project pricing.
• Follow company safety procedures and assist with identifying scope gaps and resolving quality issues.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least two years of commercial construction experience, including General Contractor experience on a project exceeding $50 million.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and Procore.
• TIA preparation experience and familiarity with blueprint reading, construction scheduling, and CAD.
• Prior field engineer or project engineer experience on commercial projects is preferred.
