Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 for its Advanced Facilities Group in Kansas City. This role provides project leadership and administration for heavy equipment, industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor construction work while partnering closely with the Project Superintendent.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients across the country.

Responsibilities

• Direct project operations, safety culture, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and closeout.
• Support preconstruction activities including estimating, trade coordination, bid packages, scopes, schedules, and subcontractor selection.
• Manage buyout, submittals, procurement, subcontract administration, change requests, pay applications, and project meetings.
• Develop and maintain schedules, resource logs, cost forecasts, budgets, and profitability reporting with the project team.
• Identify schedule and cost risks, coordinate mitigation plans, and maintain effective relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of construction management experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office, communication, presentation, and Lean process skills.
• Advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project needs require.
