Job Summary
JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to direct the administration, coordination, and delivery of mission-critical construction work in Clarksville. The role partners closely with the Project Superintendent and builds effective relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and project teams.
Project Details
This position supports mission-critical construction from preconstruction through closeout, including procurement, scheduling, cost control, subcontract administration, and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead project safety efforts and reinforce an injury-free work culture.
- Manage prestart activities, estimating support, bid packages, buyout, subcontract awards, and submittals.
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Administer change requests, project meetings, pay applications, schedules, forecasts, and cost reporting.
- Identify schedule and budget risks, coordinate mitigation plans, and oversee project closeout.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- At least five years of construction management experience.
- Intermediate MS Office and communication skills, with advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software.
- Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project processes, budgeting, profitability, and Lean practices.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
Compensation and Benefits

Additional Work Conditions
The assignment may involve travel or relocation, non-traditional work hours, project-site and office environments, and exposure to hot or cold conditions. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
