Project Manager - APG Services

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager in Chattanooga to lead small to medium engineering, procurement, construction, and service projects supporting power generation clients.

Project Details

The role supports the Power Providers market, delivering energy-generation solutions for utilities, independent power producers, and other organizations. Assignments may include service programs or smaller EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct project delivery across cost, schedule, quality, safety, contract compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and third-party activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and ensure appropriate staffing.
• Manage several projects and client relationships while addressing delivery risks.
• Support repeat business development and client contract negotiations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Approximately seven years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to work in office and construction environments, including exposure to noise, weather, heights, chemicals, and other field hazards.
• Ability to drive and perform physical activities including standing, bending, and lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
