Job Summary

Fisk Electric is hiring a Houston-based Project Manager to oversee the administrative and technical delivery of electrical construction projects, coordinating project teams and stakeholders to meet safety, quality, client, and financial goals.

Project Details

Fisk provides electrical systems, structured cabling, electronic security, and building technology services. Its project portfolio includes data centers, arenas, university facilities, 5G systems, and high-end retail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracts, project documentation, submittals, procurement, change orders, and schedules.
• Coordinate with estimating and preconstruction on budgets, scopes, contract development, constructability, and value engineering.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, assets, and regular job-cost reviews.
• Develop master and look-ahead schedules, and administer project quality and safety programs.
• Prepare owner requisitions and change orders, and assess subcontractor financial capacity and mobilization readiness.

Required Experience

• Four-year construction or engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• At least five years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management.
• At least two years working for a commercial electrical contractor.
• Proficiency with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, and AIA Contract Documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost and quality control, engineering drawings, and construction documents.
