Project Manager

Job Summary

Fisk Electric is hiring a Project Manager for its Miami office to oversee the administrative and technical delivery of electrical construction projects, coordinating with the Senior Project Manager and project partners.

Project Details

Fisk works on electrical systems, structured cabling, security, and building technology. Its portfolio includes data centers, arenas, university facilities, and high-end retail projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract administration, document control, procurement, submittals, change orders, and project scheduling.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, job-cost reviews, owner requisitions, and subcontractor financial assessments.
• Coordinate preconstruction, contract development, constructability reviews, and value engineering with project partners.
• Develop master and look-ahead schedules, and manage project quality and safety planning.
• Confirm subcontractor and vendor contractual requirements are met before mobilization.

Required Experience

• Four-year construction or engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management.
• Two or more years working for a commercial electrical contractor.
• Experience with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, Microsoft Word and Excel, and AIA contract documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost and quality control, engineering drawings, and construction documents.
