Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Project Manager to lead data center construction projects, support team development, and maintain strong customer relationships. The opening is available at two experience levels in Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska.

Project Details

Manage data center construction projects. The role may be based in Omaha or Lincoln and requires the ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, invoices, owner billings, contracts, and change orders.
• Select and oversee trade partners and suppliers while maintaining project schedule, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Lead and develop assistant project managers and project engineers, and oversee on-site team assignments and performance.
• Serve as the primary contact for owners and site representatives, resolving concerns and managing project communications.

Required Experience

• A bachelor's degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Project Manager 1: At least six years of construction management or related experience.
• Project Manager 2: At least seven years of construction management or related experience, including large projects valued at $20 million or more.
• Experience managing complex projects, knowledge of construction law and business practices, and intermediate Microsoft Office, project, and web application skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges are $113,500-$170,300 for Project Manager 1 and $132,100-$198,200 for Project Manager 2. The role is eligible for an incentive plan.
