Project Manager - Heavy Industrial/Mining

Job Summary

Manage assigned construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with accountability for safe, timely, profitable delivery and quality standards. Project scope and complexity may vary by experience level.

The role supports heavy industrial, mining, or power construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project handoffs, field execution, resources, schedules, and procurement with the project superintendent and project engineer.
• Develop and manage project plans covering scope, finances, quality, safety, environment, procurement, schedule, and risk.
• Oversee budgets, cost controls, billing, cash flow, subcontractor payments, and monthly cost projections.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, claims, project closeout, punch lists, and warranty issues.
• Support estimating, bidding, client relationships, proposals, and business development.

Required Experience

• At least 3 years as a project manager on heavy industrial, mining, or power projects, with preconstruction and construction project management experience.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of contract documents, construction operations, scheduling, productivity analysis, equipment use, and cash flow procedures.
