Sr Project Manager - Heavy Industrial/Mining

Job Summary

Lead the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of assigned heavy industrial construction projects, with responsibility for project execution, client relationships, and overall results.

Project Details

The role supports heavy industrial, power, and mining projects. Project Manager levels may oversee projects of approximately $51 million to $199 million, depending on experience and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project handoffs from estimating to field execution, including review of contracts, budgets, schedules, and procurement.
• Work with superintendents and project engineers to coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, scheduling, and project resources.
• Manage safety, quality, costs, schedule, billing, change orders, closeout, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee cost projections and monthly progress reporting, and support estimating, business development, proposals, and negotiations.
• Administer contract and subcontract requirements and verify insurance is in place before subcontractors begin work.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of Project Manager experience on heavy industrial, power, or mining projects.
• Preconstruction experience and knowledge of contract documents, construction operations, scheduling, productivity analysis, and cash flow procedures.
• Four-year construction-related degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
