Project Manager - Transportation

Job Summary

Lead assigned transportation construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, balancing safety, schedule, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. Project scope and complexity may vary by experience level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project handoff, planning, budgets, contracts, staffing, materials, and equipment with field leadership.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, procurement, risk controls, and cost forecasts.
• Oversee billing, payments, subcontract and purchase-order administration, change orders, and claims.
• Support estimating, business development, client relationships, and contract negotiations.
• Complete project closeout, punch lists, and warranty follow-up.

Required Experience

• Experience in preconstruction and construction project management.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of contracts, materials, equipment, scheduling, productivity, construction operations, and cash flow.
