Project Superintendent

Lead field and administrative execution for construction projects, overseeing safety, schedule, quality, productivity, costs, and client satisfaction. The role may include supervision of other field leaders.

Project Details

Project Superintendent I assignments may involve projects up to $20 million, while Project Superintendent II assignments may involve projects from $20 million to $50 million.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project plans, labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Lead project and subcontractor coordination meetings, document field status, and resolve constructability or design issues.
• Manage construction schedules, work plans, project quality, safety, profitability, and contract execution.
• Support project documentation and procurement reviews, manage claims, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee punch-list completion and coordinate system start-up and commissioning.

Required Experience

• Four-year engineering degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Construction project and supervisory experience on similar facility types.
• Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
• Strong communication, organization, and supervisory skills.

Additional Requirements

This is a safety-sensitive position involving personal protective equipment and the ability to perform physical field duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and occasional climbing.
