Superintendent II- Brownsville, TX

Job Summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Superintendent II to oversee construction operations at a project site or business unit and supervise Superintendents and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct field work to meet project design, budget, schedule, staffing, safety, environmental, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate on-site operations, scheduling, engineering, and material control.
• Guide field supervisors, subcontractors, and other contractors to support productivity and contractual performance.
• Work with project management on work plans, procedures, and project standards.
• Help recruit and hire qualified team members.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of construction management or craft supervision experience in a similar field.
• Strong construction knowledge, communication, organization, planning, and supervisory skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors around construction equipment and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range is $111,123 to $166,683. Benefits include paid holidays, sick leave, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending options, and a 401(k) match for salaried employees.
