Project Superintendent II - Heavy Industrial

Job Summary

Sundt is seeking a Project Superintendent II to direct field and administrative operations for heavy industrial construction projects, with responsibility for safe, high-quality, and profitable delivery.

Project Details

The role is intended for medium-scale projects valued at approximately $20 million to $50 million.

Responsibilities

• Lead project field operations and oversee safety, schedule, quality, productivity, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Project Manager to develop and execute project plans, including scope, procurement, environmental, financial, quality, and safety plans.
• Lead project team members and subcontractors; manage construction planning, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain the CPM schedule, use Lean processes and weekly work plans, and hold coordination meetings.
• Coordinate submittals, constructability concerns, change orders, punch lists, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Identify and address potential claims while maintaining effective communication with owners and other stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Four-year engineering degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Construction project and supervisory experience in similar facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
• Excellent communication, organization, and supervisory skills.
