Quality Field Engineer

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Quality Field Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control across mission-critical construction projects, working with project leaders and trade partners from installation through turnover.

Project Details

The role supports mission-critical projects and quality checks for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP work ahead of equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field walkthroughs and inspections, document work with photographs, and maintain quality records and inspection plans.
• Review submittals and shop drawings, track deficiencies and corrective actions, and support punch-list and turnover activities.
• Coordinate third-party testing and AHJ inspections, and share lessons learned with project teams and trade partners.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, or structural engineering, or construction management.
• At least one year of successful construction management experience.
• Construction quality-control experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of project software such as Procore, AutoDesk, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, or Smartsheet.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professionalism; must be willing to travel.
