Quality Field Engineer

Job Summary

Join Ryan Companies’ national Mission Critical team as a Quality Field Engineer, supporting project teams with field quality assurance and control from construction through turnover.

Project Details

Support mission-critical construction, coordinating quality activities across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP installations to prepare projects for equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect field installations, document quality activities, and maintain inspection and testing records.
• Review submittals and shop drawings, coordinate third-party and authority inspections, and track deficiencies through corrective action.
• Support punch lists, phase turnover, and communication of lessons learned with project teams and trade partners.
• Use project tracking tools such as Procore, Autodesk, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.

Required Experience

• At least one year of construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, or structural engineering, or construction management.
• Previous construction quality control experience preferred.
• Strong communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to travel.
