Safety Manager

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring a Safety Manager to oversee project or regional safety programs and promote its Incident and Injury Free culture.

Project Details

AP works across commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety programs, deliver training, and communicate safety policies and updates.
• Conduct inspections and audits, report findings, address hazards, and coordinate with government agencies.
• Support workers’ compensation reviews, accident investigations, and return-to-work planning.
• Work with project teams to maintain safety resources, training, and effective site communications.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Safety Management, or a related field, plus 6–8 years of directly related safety and health program experience.
• Construction experience preferred; experience with government inspections and audits and knowledge of state and federal safety regulations required.
• Knowledge of dust control and stormwater management, Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency, and experience conducting safety training.
• Must hold or be able to obtain an OSHA 500 Trainer Card for the construction industry.
• Ability to travel and manage multiple projects and priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600–$143,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, HSA, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, PTO and holidays, tuition assistance, and an employee referral bonus.
