About the role
Job Summary
Mortenson is hiring a Safety Manager I to guide safety efforts across multiple construction teams and sites, with possible supervision of other safety professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the Zero Injury Safety program across project sites.
- Work with project management teams to develop site-specific electrical safety plans and activities.
- Assess training needs and deliver safety orientations, electrical training, and train-the-trainer sessions.
Required Experience
- Civil experience is preferred but not required.
- Meet one of these qualifications: a four-year degree in health or safety; or a high school diploma, OSHA 500, and CHST certification from BCSP.
Compensation and Benefits
The role requires travel throughout the United States, with a four-day home rotation every three weeks until the project is complete or reassignment.
