Senior Field Engineer

Job Summary

Rudolph & Sletten is hiring a Senior Field Engineer for its Roseville office to support field execution, quality, documentation, and coordination with project teams.

Project Details

The company delivers large commercial projects, with experience across healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, and science and technology facilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications, check submittals and shop drawings, and verify work against applicable requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, address quality issues, and prepare RFIs, field change requests, as-built drawings, quantity takeoffs, and field reports.
• Support construction sequencing and schedule coordination, document progress and job-walk findings, and monitor productivity.
• Help maintain a safe worksite, identify hazards, participate in safety inspections, and support OSHA compliance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or four years of construction management experience.
• At least five years of field experience as an entry-level Project Engineer.
• Plan-reading skills and knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and scheduling, estimating, and cost software.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and communicate effectively with project personnel.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected annual salary range is $95,000–$120,000, depending on experience and region.
