Senior Field Engineer - HART Project

Job Summary

Tutor Perini is hiring a Senior Field Engineer to support field operations for its HART rail project in Honolulu, coordinating production, technical documentation, quality, cost tracking, and safety.

Project Details

The approximately $1.66 billion HART City Center Guideway and Stations project includes six rail stations and about three miles of elevated guideway in downtown Honolulu. Construction is estimated to begin in the second half of 2025, with substantial completion expected in 2030.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production needs with crews and monitor schedule, budget, materials, and equipment.
• Manage drawings, specifications, quantity and cost records, timecards, quality documentation, permits, and inspections.
• Support field layout, work planning, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and design and estimating activities.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and participate in field safety meetings.
• Coordinate project closeout with field crews and the owner’s representative.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Six or more years of construction field experience.
• Knowledge of scheduling, construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, materials, and applicable standards.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $130,000-$160,000, depending on experience.
