Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support commercial construction work in Tampa. The position requires U.S. work authorization verification.

Project Details

The role calls for experience in commercial design-build construction and may include broader involvement in the full project cycle on selected smaller jobs, with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build working knowledge of project budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers, and take responsibility for assigned work.
• Travel as needed.

Required Experience

• At least 2–4 years of successful commercial construction experience in a design-build environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or construction management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
• Knowledge of estimating methods, cost control, and material pricing; comfort using current technology.
