Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini company, is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for its Roseville office. The role supports project management and field leadership in coordinating construction activities, schedules, documentation, and contract compliance.

Project Details

The company delivers large commercial projects across California, including work in healthcare, higher education, civic facilities, research, and technology. The position is based in Roseville.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, design teams, owners, and other project participants through meetings, site inspections, and job walks.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change documentation, project logs, and document-control processes.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and field conditions; identify conflicts, risks, and schedule impacts and help resolve them.
• Support scheduling, quantity takeoffs, material coordination, project metrics, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Use Procore to generate project reports and help train project personnel in document-control procedures.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least five years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Experience with large commercial projects is desired, including healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, or science and technology projects.
• Knowledge of surveying, engineering standards, blueprint reading, scheduling, and estimating software; proficiency with Primavera P6 is expected.
• Procore or similar construction software experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Bluebeam is requested.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $97,500–$115,000, depending on experience.
