Senior Project Engineer - Electrical

Job Summary

Fisk Electric is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for its Los Angeles office to support delivery of the L.A. Metro Purple Line 2/3 extensions. The role reports to the Project Manager and supports project leadership.

Project Details

Work centers on electrical systems for the L.A. Metro Purple Line 2/3 Extension transit projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and administer change requests, change orders, owner payment applications, and claims when applicable.
• Track job costs and reporting, and help project leadership analyze quantities and labor costs.
• Coordinate project closeout and investigate quality concerns.
• Check completed work against applicable codes, plans, and specifications.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of construction industry experience; field engineering background is preferred.
• Electrical contracting and traffic or street lighting experience are advantageous.
• Knowledge of contracting fundamentals and large-scale mass transit or transportation work.
• Strong organization, communication, and people-management abilities.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $150,000–$180,000, depending on experience.
