Senior Project Engineer - Mission Critical

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for its National Mission Critical team in Dallas. This role supports project administration and construction execution while offering a path toward project management.

Project Details

The team delivers technically complex mission-critical work, with experience in data centers, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project administration from preconstruction through closeout, including documentation, reports, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders.
• Help develop bid packages and participate in subcontractor selection and negotiations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and the Superintendent on technical issues, schedules, and jobsite planning.
• Support safety and quality efforts, manage punch list completion, and compile closeout records.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of Project Engineer experience in commercial construction.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project management fundamentals.
• Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore and Building Connected.
• Mission-critical project experience and P6 scheduling software experience are preferred.
