Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Job Summary

Harris is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction work, supporting projects from planning through completion while managing safety, cost, schedule, and communication.

Project Details

The opportunity is based in the Detroit, Michigan area and supports a new project planned for 2027–2029. Harris delivers mechanical construction work across varied facility types and project sizes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance, scope, project documents, schedules, and field resources.
• Coordinate procurement, estimating, and financial management.
• Build and maintain customer and project relationships, and support sales activities.

Required Experience

• At least eight years of construction project management experience.
• At least eight years of experience with mechanical systems and construction documents.
• At least eight years of knowledge of design principles and tools, business operations and finance, customer relations, project sales, and construction legal matters.
• Willingness to travel.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $111,060.64–$166,590.97, with the offer based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; paid vacation, sick time, and holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
