Solar Electrical General Foreman - County Line

Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Electrical General Foreman to coordinate crews, materials, and technical work while directing foremen and craft team members according to project schedules and applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and promote safe, high-quality work that meets regulations and company policies.
• Prepare work instructions, cross-training plans, and on-the-job training.
• Manage schedules, workload, supply inventory, and reordering needs.
• Use lean methods and improve safety, quality, customer service, and cost performance.
• Take ownership of facility functions and lead by example.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience.
• Trade or technical school certification or diploma, plus project-specific or Mortenson training.
• Current driver's license and ability to communicate in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to read plans, operate listed shop and construction equipment, and work collaboratively.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and handle loads up to 50 pounds; heavier loads require assistance or equipment.
