Solar Laborer Foreman - Middle Lake

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a laborer foreman for solar construction work at Middle Lake. The foreman will coordinate labor crews and provide materials and support for other crafts.

Responsibilities

• Direct laborers and coordinate their assignments.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan field activities.
• Sequence work to support construction schedules and estimate labor needs.
• Communicate safety requirements, track time, and address field problems.
• Provide coaching and direction to laborers, apprentices, journeymen, and helpers.
• Prepare contract cost estimates and operate machinery as needed.

Required Experience

• Three years of related experience preferred.
• Union-specific training and a current driver's license required.
• Ability to use hand tools and equipment and operate machinery such as forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; assistance or equipment is required for heavier loads.
