Sr. Construction Project Manager - Industrial/Science & Technology

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a senior project manager for its national industrial team to guide project teams, deliver strong customer outcomes, and manage budgets and project performance.

Project Details

The role covers specialized industrial and science and technology facilities, including high-tech manufacturing plants, laboratories, biotech production sites, cleanrooms, research and development labs, and advanced manufacturing lines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design development, budgets, schedules, and project quality.
• Lead client presentations and negotiations, build customer relationships, and negotiate construction contract terms.
• Develop procurement plans, prepare bid documents, and negotiate and award subcontracts.
• Supervise project staff and ensure effective management of receivables, warranty matters, and team administration.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• At least 10 years of project management experience in commercial construction; industrial experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing, and design management.
• Experience with science and technology projects, such as laboratories, data centers, or research and development facilities, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $140,000-$180,000, with the final rate depending on position location and the selected candidate’s qualifications. The role may also be eligible for commission and/or an incentive program.
