Job Summary

Rudolph & Sletten is hiring a Superintendent in Roseville to lead field operations on medium- to large-scale construction projects, with responsibility for safe, high-quality work and effective use of labor and materials.

Project Details

The role calls for experience with large commercial projects. Desired sectors include healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, and science and technology. The company’s California portfolio includes healthcare, research, educational, and civic facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, develop project-specific safety procedures, conduct audits and meetings, and oversee subcontractor compliance.
• Manage field quality control, QA/QC documentation, inspections, mock-ups, and subcontractor as-built records.
• Create and maintain the master schedule, prepare look-ahead plans, coordinate trades, and report progress, delays, and cost impacts.
• Direct field personnel and subcontractors; manage labor assignments, time reporting, equipment, materials, and jobsite mobilization.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, owners, architects, subcontractors, and unions; oversee permits, inspections, security, and project reporting.
• Monitor contract compliance, labor production, costs, and completed-work acceptance.

Required Experience

• At least eight years of field or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is desired. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors; broad experience across construction disciplines is preferred.
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency, especially Excel. Procore experience is preferred; scheduling, estimating, cost principles, and Primavera P6 knowledge are desired.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $120,000-$170,000, depending on experience.
