Job Summary

Rudolph & Sletten is hiring a Superintendent in Menlo Park to direct field execution on medium- to large-scale construction projects, with a focus on safe, high-quality delivery.

Project Details

The company works on large commercial projects, including healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, and science and technology facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead field personnel and subcontractors while coordinating labor, equipment, materials, and site logistics.
• Manage project schedules, look-ahead planning, daily reports, labor tracking, and coordination meetings.
• Oversee jobsite safety, quality control, inspections, permits, security, and completion sign-off.
• Coordinate with project management, owners, design teams, subcontractors, and building trades to resolve issues and maintain project progress.

Required Experience

• At least eight years of relevant field experience; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is desired; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and working across construction disciplines is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Procore experience is preferred; scheduling, estimating, cost principles, and Primavera P6 knowledge are desired.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $135,000–$210,000, depending on experience.
