Superintendent (Build-to-Rent & Multifamily)

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors seeks a Superintendent to direct field operations and coordinate project teams, trade partners, and ownership through construction completion.

Project Details

The role focuses on build-to-rent and multifamily construction; ground-up experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activity and coordinate subcontractors, workers, and assistant superintendents.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, communicate schedule and change issues, and develop a rolling three-week work plan.
• Monitor quality, project costs, safety practices, stormwater compliance, and project documentation.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain logs, RFIs, project photos, as-builts, turnover records, and punch lists.

Required Experience

• At least five years of related general-contractor experience or equivalent background; build-to-rent or multifamily experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong people management, organization, prioritization, communication, and safety leadership skills.
• Microsoft Office and MS Project knowledge; familiarity with Procore or ability to learn it.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range of $110,000-$160,000, with eligibility for merit/performance, project, referral, and business development incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, EAP, 401(k), ESOP, paid time off, sick time, and optional insurance programs.
