Yard Pipe Superintendent

Job Summary

Garney is hiring a Yard Pipe Superintendent to lead self-perform piping and utility work for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Project Details

The role oversees yard piping, underground and above-ground process piping, utility piping, and mechanical systems on water and wastewater treatment plant projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct field crews and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, and compliance with project requirements.
• Work with project teams, inspectors, owners, and design representatives to resolve field issues.
• Support crew development, material purchasing, inventory analysis, as-built records, and site surveying.

Required Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience.
• At least five years of underground utility, process piping, or heavy civil construction experience, including field leadership.
• Experience leading self-perform yard piping or underground utility crews.
• Water or wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, utility layouts, and schedules; strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range of $125,000–$160,000, with employer-paid medical, prescription, dental, and vision plans, company stock, a 401(k) match, paid time off, holidays, and additional health and wellness resources.
