Traveling Superintendent

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee onsite construction and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and clients from start through closeout.

Project Details

Catamount works across a range of markets, including distribution centers, medical facilities, housing, restaurants, and fire stations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field activities and maintain communication with subcontractors, the Project Manager, architects, and owners.
• Develop and follow a three-week schedule, monitor quality, control project costs, and maintain project records.
• Lead jobsite safety activities, including pre-task meetings, notices, reports, and safety documentation.
• Track stormwater plan compliance and manage closeout items, as-built documents, and punch lists.

Required Experience

• At least five years of related experience or training with a general contractor; renovation or tenant-improvement experience is relevant, and ground-up experience is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong people management, organization, prioritization, communication, and safety leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project; experience with Procore or ability to learn it.
