Job Summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors is hiring a traveling concrete superintendent to oversee field operations and project administration, guiding concrete work from startup through completion while maintaining schedule, budget, and specifications.

Project Details

MCC delivers concrete foundations, slabs on grade, tilt-up construction, and exterior pavement for projects ranging from renovations to developments exceeding one million square feet.

Responsibilities

• Plan staffing, equipment, and material quantities to support construction schedules and efficient field operations.
• Supervise carpenters, cement finishers, ironworkers, and laborers, and communicate schedule updates to supervisors.
• Coordinate with the project manager and general contractor, providing regular progress updates and assisting with requisitions and project documentation.
• Maintain daily project records and enforce the company safety program and policies.

Required Experience

• 5–25+ years as a working concrete superintendent on projects of at least 100,000 square feet; flatwork experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States and a current, valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to meet the physical demands of field work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred training or certifications include rigging, OSHA 10-hour, aerial lifts, and variable reach.

Compensation and Benefits
