Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Harris is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support HVAC construction projects, helping maintain budgets, schedules, communications, quality, and site safety.

Project Details

Harris works on projects ranging from stadiums and hospitals to manufacturing facilities, power plants, concert halls, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Organize project documents and submittals, track RFIs, record coordination meetings, and support quality and closeout documentation.
• Help identify and report scope changes, maintain procurement and rental logs, and track labor productivity with project and field teams.
• Conduct site walkthroughs, support safety compliance, and coordinate with vendors on estimates using estimating software.

Required Experience

• At least two years of building or construction industry knowledge or experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to read construction documents.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and teamwork skills.
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $62,549.35-$93,824.03. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; vacation, sick time, and paid holidays; paid parental leave; and a short-term incentive plan.
