Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Support project delivery by coordinating field and office operations, subcontractors, vendors, and project personnel to help meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Enforce jobsite safety practices and manage project scheduling, buyout, and milestone tracking.
• Assist with subcontract and purchase order preparation, negotiations, cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized project records, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Track project delays, coordinate schedule updates, and communicate notices to the owner.
• Develop quality processes and oversee punch list execution.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of construction or engineering experience, including three years as a Project Engineer.
• Knowledge of contracts, cost reporting, building systems, and construction delivery methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe, Visio, CMIC, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred. LEED AP and/or LEED GA preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay ranges from $133,000 to $146,000, depending on skills and experience.
