Assistant Project Manager (Civil Construction)

Job Summary

Keeley Construction is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for its Civil Energy Team in St. Louis, supporting project delivery across estimating, scheduling, safety, operations, and quality.

Project Details

The team works on civil energy projects involving substations, transmission and distribution, and deep foundation drilling.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, schedules, budgets, job costs, and project controls.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, materials, suppliers, and field resources.
• Track safety, quality, project risks, delays, and impacts to budgets, schedules, and plans.
• Assist with preconstruction, change orders, client closeout, and project documentation.
• Maintain cost and material records, including LCPR and material logs.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, plus at least two years performing relevant project responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Technical knowledge of substation, transmission and distribution, or deep foundation drilling projects.
• Understanding of permits, owner contract requirements, billing, subcontracts, change orders, and related project administration.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with staff, vendors, and clients.
