Building Automation Project Manager

Job Summary

Harris is seeking a Building Automation Project Manager to direct projects from bidding through closeout, balancing design requirements, budgets, schedules, quality, and safety.

Project Details

Harris works on projects including stadiums, manufacturing facilities, power plants, hospitals, concert halls, and classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, coordinate schedules and staffing, track milestones, and respond to delays or changing site conditions.
• Manage project budgets, contracts, estimates, cost reporting, and change orders while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate permits, technical decisions, project status reporting, and resolution of issues with owners, contractors, and design professionals.
• Monitor field work for quality and compliance with company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Complete site walkthroughs and oversee closeout, including operation and maintenance manuals, owner training, punch lists, and commissioning.

Required Experience

• At least five years of project management experience.
• At least five years of familiarity with business administration, engineering and technology, and building construction materials, tools, and processes.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $67,524.87-$126,609.13. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; vacation, sick time, and paid holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
