Foreman/Superintendent (Foundations)

Job Summary

Lead field operations and site crews on foundation projects, coordinating work to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Project Details

Work includes deep foundation systems such as piledriving, micropiles, caissons, and helical piles, supported by foundation and ground-improvement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workforce, equipment, subcontractors, schedules, and daily site activities.
• Maintain safe work practices through hazard reviews, safety meetings, and corrective actions.
• Inspect work and materials for quality, maintain field records, and report safety or equipment incidents.
• Manage site personnel and participate in preconstruction and project meetings.

Required Experience

• At least five years overseeing crews installing deep foundation systems, including piledriving, micropiles, caissons, and helical piles.
• At least five years of experience with foundation or ground-improvement equipment, such as drills, concrete pumps, and batch plants.
• Ability to oversee multiple jobs and interpret construction plans, specifications, and reports.
• OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, and First Aid.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record; must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
